Makstylo is looking to continue to expand too, with plans in place to expand its joinery workshop from 20,000 2 to 50,000 2 by 2021. This is being driven by a number of factors, not least the demand the company foresees in KSA, which it intends to start pitching to in 2020. Furthermore, Makstylo has already introduced a new creative line to satisfy the need for decorative lights for B2B customers – ‘You Design, We Create’ – and decorative MDF panels, designed mosaic tiles and acoustic solutions.

As Expo 2020 edges ever closer, it is envisaged that more and more investors will be moving to the region, particularly within the hospitality sector. This is a very positive trend for Makstylo, as it is renowned for excelling in quality services that cover everything from the initial design concept to completion, including interior civil works, MEP design and execution, and joinery. Indeed, as a turnkey interior fit-out solution provider, the company is justly proud of its record of quality workmanship, within budget and on schedule.

Harmonious Interiors
Although Expo 2020 has not directly affected Makstylo, the company is busy with regular clients that include Nakheel and the Al Habtoor Group, both of which have strategic roles in the upcoming World Fair.
Looking to the future, growth will come from several expanding sectors, not least hospitality, private villas, and o ices. At present, the company is working on the Byblos Hotel and a high-end luxury apartment for 2020 Holding, as well as commercial space and fine dining restaurants.
Makstylo is looking to grow its revenue by as much as 50-70% over the next five years, fuelled by more business from KSA and other Gulf countries.
The company is also looking to expand its trading division with unique products such as decorative lights, mosaic tiles, decorative MDF panels, and acoustic panels and solutions.
Moreover, the company has a joint-venture partner in India, which will support its large-scale doors and furniture production without compromising its renowned international standards.
“We believe current market reformation will happen this year and reduce unreasonable competition, re-shaping the market in 2020. So there will challenges during this period.
