Dubai Municipality recently organised an exhibition at the University of Modern Sciences in Dubai to raise awareness on the culture of waste sorting, which is the first step towards building a comprehensive environmental culture among students and to promote environmental and community awareness.
The exhibition showcased several awareness initiatives and projects, such as the advanced system of collection, storage and transportation of waste, and the waste separation centres project, known as the Smart Sustainability Oasis and the Wastewater Treatment Plant. These projects are distinctive in applying the highest and most advanced international standards in the sustainability of environmental safety.
