Former MAN Energy Solutions enters bold decarbonization era.
Everllence, the new name for MAN Energy Solutions, marks a transformative step in the company’s global mission to lead industrial decarbonization. With over 250 years of engineering legacy, the rebranding to Everllence symbolizes the shift from traditional engine manufacturing to pioneering sustainable energy solutions, particularly in the hard-to-abate sectors of shipping, energy, and industry.
250+ years of engineering excellence
The name Everllence, a fusion of “ever” and “excellence,” reflects both the company’s rich history of innovation—ranging from the invention of the diesel engine to early advancements in renewable technology—and its unwavering commitment to future-forward sustainability.
“As we rebrand to Everllence, the Gulf region is a key strategic priority,” said Gaby Hanna, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Everllence Middle East and Africa. “We are driven by the bold purpose of ‘moving big things to zero’. Whether it’s decarbonizing ports, industrial zones, or large-scale shipping operations, we’re committed to tackling the emissions that are hardest to eliminate.”
Supporting Gulf nations’ energy transition
Operating in the GCC for more than five decades, Everllence continues to expand its reach through regional partnerships and transformative technology. In the UAE, the company supports major carbon capture and port energy initiatives, while a new marine training center and ship repair hub are helping future-proof maritime operations. In Saudi Arabia, Everllence contributes to Vision 2030 through advanced infrastructure solutions at King Abdullah Port and tourism megaprojects like The Red Sea Project.
Further regional highlights include:
- Oman: Driving energy efficiency and enabling green hydrogen in Duqm
- Qatar: Supplying gas turbines and compressors for QatarEnergy’s LNG expansion
- Egypt: Partnering with TAQA Power on hydrogen pilot projects
- Kuwait & Iraq: Delivering low-emission engines and energy systems for industrial resilience
Through integrated systems like marine and power-plant engines, heat pumps, carbon capture, and electrolysers for green hydrogen, Everllence enables the energy transition without sacrificing productivity or reliability.
Driving “big things to zero” mission
Now under its new identity but still a part of the Volkswagen Group, Everllence’s mission is clear: to support Gulf nations and global partners in achieving net-zero ambitions with technical expertise, tailored solutions, and an unshakable belief in progress.
