Dubai Frame, which enjoys a unique position among the tourist and urban attractions around the world due to its unmatchable awesome design, has attracted the attention of a large number of visitors to Dubai, as it received a million visitors from around the world during its first year of opening.
“The Dubai Frame comes from the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to establish Dubai as an international cultural, entertainment and tourism destination,” said Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality.
“Dubai Municipality is keen to launch unique projects, which will highlight Dubai’s leadership in various fields, by adhering to strategies and foundations that contribute to achieving the desired objectives. Having such a huge number of visitors is a remarkable achievement for Dubai. We are always working to enrich the city with projects that contribute to showcase the unique urban development witnessed by the city, as well as our belief in the importance of providing distinctive and attractive tourist landmarks, and working to attract large numbers of the public,” he said.
Dubai Frame has become one of the state-of-the-art tourism and entertainment attractions since its opening in January 2018. It is a landmark with spectacular views of Dubai’s old and modern city within a “single frame” to form a bridge linking the emirate’s past with its thriving present. With a panoramic view of the entire city of Dubai, the Dubai Frame reflects its story over time from its inception to the success stories of its ambitious plans for a prosperous future.
The most important feature of the Dubai Frame is the unique upper bridge. The visitors’ journey transforms from smart plates to transparent floors, as soon as they walk on it, giving the visitor the feeling of walking on the air, enjoying a unique view of the area around the elevator from the top. Last year, Dubai Frame bagged the Excellence Award at the Fourth Theme Parks Awards, as well as the Best Performance of the Year Award at the Aspire Summit.
