Aysha AlRemeithi, a passionate advocate for clean energy and sustainability, serves as Deputy Manager at the DEWA Smart Grid PMO and President of the DEWA Youth Council. With a distinguished academic background, including a BSc in Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering and an MSc in City Sciences, both earned with top honors, she has made significant contributions to Dubai’s environmental goals.

Aysha AlRemeithi has been instrumental in reducing CO2 emissions, certifying government green buildings, and spearheading clean technology initiatives across the region. Her achievements include receiving the prestigious Dubai Medal for Young Employee in the Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP) 2021, winning the “Future Women Energy Leaders” WiRA Award in 2024, and being named the ENOC Women Leaders in Energy Award Winner, Woman Young Leader 2024.
Global Impact – Over 26 international benchmark visits and contributions to key sustainability conferences worldwide
An active participant in international youth programs such as the Young Future Energy Leaders and The Green Program in Iceland, Aysha AlRemeithi has completed over 26 international benchmark visits. She presented groundbreaking research, including “The Role of Green Building Codes and Renewable Energy in Achieving nZEB Targets for Residential Dwellings in Dubai” and “Energy Consumption and HVAC Load Analysis for Residential Dwellings in Dubai,” at RESEE 2023 in Cyprus and attended PVSEC-33 in Japan in 2022.
Committed to lifelong learning, Aysha has published over four research papers and holds professional credentials in sustainability, green buildings, and energy management. As an active member of the Emirates Green Building Council, she continues to drive change both locally and globally. Beyond her professional commitments, Aysha AlRemeithi has dedicated over 1,075 volunteer hours, including humanitarian aid efforts in Upper Egypt.
