The Grand Opening of the Mall of UAQ is scheduled for Q2 2019, and it is a development that is already changing the retail landscape of the emirate with some of the outlets already open to the public. These include Orange Hub a 2313m2 family entertainment centre, a 9122m2 Lulu Hypermarket and Department Store, Etisalat, Starbucks, Bath & Body Works, Damas, Joyallukas, Sony, Jawhara, Hour Choice, V Perfumes, Oud Elite, Ahmed Al Maghrabi Perfumes, Wow Salon, Tawjeeh , Optic Zone and many other brands.
Other outlets to open in 2019 in the Mall of UAQ include, but are not limited to, a five-screen Star Cinema, Gloria Jeans, Mumuso, Mothercare, UPIM, Black Tulip, Sport 2000, and Richway.
The single level mall consists of 20,000m2 of GLA, and will also offer seven food court outlets such as KFC, Hatam, Pizza Company, and many more, all supported with 600 parking spaces.
In Sharjah, the LIP mall project, yet to be named, features 42,000m2 of GLA, incorporating a unique mid-range retail offer that perfectly suits the catchment area profile and is scheduled to open in early 2020.
The mall will feature a wide range of food and beverage outlets, encompassing a unique food street experience that will offer visitors an incredibly wide choice of dining options, with something to suit every taste and budget. There are a number of additional unique selling points built into the Sharjah mall too, such as a 15,700m2 Lulu Hypermarket and Department Store, an 11-screen Cinema, a 4,600m2 Orange Hub, a new family entertainment centre, and in excess of 1800 parking spaces, making this a supremely attractive destination that is also convenient and easy to reach. Oasis, which is scheduled to open in 2020, incorporating 81,500m2 of GLA, it is designed to accommodate premium retail and positioned as a leisure destination offering easy accessibility to the neighbouring communities with a user-friendly layout. Lease agreements are already signed with Lulu Hypermarket, Orange Hub a Family Entertainment Centre, and Train, a gym to keep the community in shape.
The mall will have a comprehensive retail mix covering over 35,500m2, 3200 parking spaces, a 16,700m2 Lulu Hypermarket and Department Store, 21 food court units, 11 casual restaurants, 12 coffee shops, 12 screen Cinema and a 6800m2 family entertainment centre.
