Global architecture and design practice Aedas has unveiled the design for Rixos Al Reem Residences, a landmark branded residential development on Abu Dhabi’s Al Reem Island for East & West Properties L.L.C. The project represents the second collaboration between the two organizations under the Rixos residential brand, following the success of the Rixos Financial Center Road Residences in Dubai, the world’s first Rixos branded residences.

The building’s orientation has been carefully considered to optimize solar performance while maintaining generous daylight throughout the interiors. At podium level, residents are welcomed into a vibrant shared environment centered around an expansive outdoor leisure deck. The design extends naturally toward the waterfront through shaded walkways, seating areas, and lush planting that strengthen the connection between the development and the canal.
