Over the last 10 years, EHAF has been consistently listed in both Engineering News Record (ENR) magazine’s top 225 International Design Firms and the top 20 non-U.S. International Construction Management Firms’ lists. In the latest ranking, it has been positioned at 77th in the top 225 International Design Firms.
This long-term, ongoing recognition, has had a lot to do with EHAF’s exceptional company leaders since establishment. Mr Mohamed El Taher, EHAF’s current Senior Vice President and General Director, who started work with EHAF in 2005, is one of those influential leaders with the ability to fuel EHAF’s success through his well-developed interpersonal skills and strong financial acumen. This, and his ability to take calculated risks, has allowed EHAF to grow significantly, building successful relationships with a large number of developers and clients.
Leading from the Front
As with all businesses, though, it is not just plain sailing. At the present time, challenges faced by Taher and EHAF include continuous economic changes in UAE due to being based in a very dynamic country, fierce competition, and being able to always attract the right quality of employees, especially when employment turnover is relatively high due to the continuous relocation of residents.
Nonetheless, EHAF has always been blessed with excellent engineers, architects, and project managers who are educated in the most prestigious universities. Most importantly, they have worked extensively overseas, as well as locally. This not only renders the firm capable of being an integral and effective part of any multicultural team, but also allows it to deliver key and special projects to the very highest of standards.
EHAF’s proven expertise in supervising and designing prime projects, its highly professional staff, in addition to running local offices with regional experience, are added values to any project it embarks on. A few of EHAF’s distinguished projects that are worth mentioning are: The Grand Egyptian Museum and Greater Cairo Metro in Egypt, Jabal Omar Development in Mekka and King Abdullah Economic City in Jeddah, KSA, United Square Development, Al Marasy Development and Park Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
EHAF’s successful delivery of complex projects, of course, requires a set of top-notch skills, extensive experience, and a commitment to quality outcome, resulting in unrivalled client satisfaction and credibility in the marketplace. Indeed, the EHAF team is always ready with the required knowledge, the expertise, and the attitude to take on any challenge.
