LIKHITHA WINS MAJOR ABU DHABI PIPELINE CONTRACT

Indian Infrastructure Specialist Expands Uae Presence with $54 Million Asab Pipeline Project.

Likhitha Infrastructure Limited has strengthened its international credentials after securing a major pipeline construction contract in Abu Dhabi from China Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corporation–Abu Dhabi (CPECC Abu Dhabi). Valued at approximately INR510 crore (US$54 million), the award reinforces the Indian engineering company’s growing role in the Middle East’s expanding energy infrastructure market.

Pipeline infrastructure, serving both public and private sector energy companies

Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Hyderabad, India, Likhitha Infrastructure specializes in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the oil and gas sector. The company has built its reputation through the design, laying, testing and commissioning of cross-country pipelines, city gas distribution networks, associated facilities and operations and maintenance services. Over nearly three decades, Likhitha has completed thousands of kilometers of pipeline infrastructure, serving both public and private sector energy companies while steadily expanding its international footprint.

The contract was awarded by China Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corporation–Abu Dhabi, the regional arm of one of the world’s largest engineering contractors serving the petroleum industry. CPECC is internationally recognized for delivering integrated engineering, procurement and construction solutions across upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas developments, supporting major energy producers throughout the Middle East and beyond.

Strengthen the country’s energy transportation network

Under the new agreement, Likhitha will undertake the construction of Pipeline Package-1 at ASAB, one of the UAE’s most important hydrocarbon production regions. The project forms part of wider efforts to strengthen the country’s energy transportation network and support continued investment in upstream and midstream oil and gas operations.

The scope of work includes pipeline construction together with associated infrastructure required to meet CPECC’s technical specifications. According to the Letter of Award, the project will be completed within 21 months.

Compete successfully for complex international energy projects

For Likhitha Infrastructure, the award represents more than another addition to its order book. It demonstrates the company’s ability to compete successfully for complex international energy projects while reinforcing its reputation as a trusted EPC contractor in pipeline infrastructure. The Abu Dhabi project is expected to support the company’s long-term strategy of expanding its presence across the Gulf, where governments continue to invest heavily in energy security and production capacity.

As the UAE continues to modernize and expand its oil and gas infrastructure, partnerships between regional project owners and experienced international contractors such as CPECC and Likhitha Infrastructure will play an important role in delivering the critical pipeline networks needed to support future energy demand.
